Recycling Trash Pile Catches Fire, GOODRICH, August 4, 2023 - Shortly before 9 am on August 4, 2023, a fire somehow ignited a trash pile at USA Recycling located at 7233, US-59 in Goodrich. Volunteer Fire Departments from Goodrich, Livingston, and other surrounding VFDs were summoned to fight the stubborn flames. At time of press (10:45 am), there's no reported injuries and firemen are still on the scene. One lane of traffic on the north-bound side of 59 is blocked for emergency vehicles, traffic is otherwise flowing.
