First Garlic Harvest | Promising Start Ends as EPIC FAIL | Garden Zone 6B

As the garlic harvest approached I was super excited about the garlic bounty I was expecting! However, we live 700 miles away from the homestead so we "garden on grace". We plant seeds and hope for the best! Unfortunately this time, the gamble didn't pay off!
We made multiple trips to the homestead prior to the garlic harvest and it was looking amazing! I couldn't wait! Finally, July arrived and I planned to harvest the bounty. My heart dropped when I saw what was left of my garlic bed. Don't miss the most pathetic-looking garlic braid ever produced.... though beautifully braided by my daughter, Faith Hardy. Better luck next year... I hope!
