Mass protest in Tel Aviv against govt's judicial reforms

Live from Tel Aviv on Saturday, July 29, as protesters rally against the government’s reform of the judicial system.

Opponents of the changes, which give lawmakers increased powers over the Supreme Court and the appointment of judges, have been demonstrating since the proposals were first announced in January.

A bill was passed on Tuesday to prevent the courts from overturning government decisions that they deem 'unreasonable'.
