New Personal Escape System for Firefighters

Through funding provided by Nassau County Legislator Bill Gaylor, the Lynbrook Fire Department received funding to purchase the latest personal escape system equipment for their firefighters to use in the event of an unplanned emergency escape due to a life-threatening situation during a structure fire. On July 30th, 2023 the Lynbrook Fire Department began training firefighters with this new equipment.
