Stevie Ray Vaughan is an American singer-songwriter and blues guitarist, born October 3, 1954 in Dallas (Texas) and died August 27, 1990 in East Troy (Wisconsin) in a helicopter crash. Despite a short career sometimes little known to the general public, he is widely considered one of the most brilliant guitarists in the history of music and one of the pioneers of the revival of the blues in the 1980s.
