Pipeline Welding - 54 Inch Section Work This video is a rarity on my channel simply because it's one of the only pipeline videos I have which showcases uphand welding techniques. More specifically 7018 vertical up in the 5G horizontal fixed position. Pass sequence was as follows;
Bead; Vertical down 6010
Hot-Pass; Vertical down 8010
Fill And Cap; Vertical up 7018
Don't ask me why.
The linear length of the entire weld is 170 inches. It's pretty big pipe!
