The M1899 Pistol is a weapon featured in Red Dead Redemption 2. It is not available in Red Dead Online. Only stocked by the best gunsmith in Saint Denis, the M1899 by Peeters & Janssens is a thoroughly modern sidearm. A semi-automatic handgun, the M1899 deals good damage at short range, and its magazine-loaded ammunition allows for a swift reload. This gun has an ammo capacity of eight rounds and can use Regular, High Velocity Split Point, Express, and Explosive pistol ammo. The M1899 Pistol is only available for purchase at the Saint Denis gunsmith after the completion of the mission "The Battle of Shady Belle".

The pistol is based on an older version of the FN Browning M1900, called the Modele 1899. The player can acquire a second M1899 from the boastful dueler random encounter in Rhodes, if they already own one. It can be obtained by killing the guards outside of Angelo Bronte's Mansion, the drunken duelist and the fistfight challenge random encounters, appleseed timber workers, and the player may acquire an extra one from one of the guards at the Central Union Railroad Camp. The weapon's magazine in-game holds a magazine of 8 rounds, while the real life M1900 only takes 6 rounds in total. Anyway this would only allow the player to reload the gun faster than a regular revolver, but wouldn't give any other advantages to the player.
