The Walt Disney Company is set to perhaps have a rotten week with their earnings call on Wednesday August 9th and the financial trades such as Fortune, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, etc... have been giving Disney NO QUARTER and NO MERCY of late.

Disney spent nearly $1 Billion on these four projects and those figures do NOT YET INCLUDE the over whelming majority of the MASSIVE post production costs, including things like editing, VFX, and CGI, which ALL of these Disney tentpole films were RIFE with.

The Walt Disney Company is collapsing at he box office. The once envied entertainment company is now struggling to find a profit on almost every single film released. Disney's bloated budgets for these projects are vastly higher than the competition on average, particularly considering the fact that every single film Disney releases comes with blockbuster production price tags.

But just how much has Disney LOST at the box office in the past year since Lightyear released? How much longer can Disney keep this up?

The Little Mermaid, Elemental, Ant Man & The Wasp Quantumania were all unmitigated FLOPS. There's only so much the Parks & Resorts along with ESPN can absorb in the long run. The Disney Creative Braintrust seems empty.
