November 12, 2015, a bloody war broke out inside the walls of one of Honduras' most brutal prisons.

The final tally was 11 deaths and 31 injured. The bodies were left unrecognizable; some lost their heads, others didn't have their ears, and many were even fed to a wild dog.

The victims were all members of the notorious MS-13 gang, and the perpetrators belonged to their number one rival, a force equally as brutal and heinous-the 18th Street gang.
