Matthew 5:33-37 - Keeping Our Word

We continue in our study of the Sermon on the Mount moving to the fourth teaching of Jesus on the Law and the Prophets. Here, Jesus corrects the teaching of the Scribes and Pharisees regarding keeping their commitments. While some interpret this passage as restricting Christians from making oaths, there is much more to this text as we shall see.
