We go underground to fight the skeleton and his friends, who are guarding the orb of light, which we must get. After we win and get it, we speak with the spirit, who seems to know Max. Also, you can get the skeleton card by killing the boss with Anri.

Normally, I would post a link to where I got the game ROM, but I'm going to keep it secret, because I don't want the Nintendo ninjas to kill that website like they did with Emu Paradise.
