2nd part 4th chapter part 2+ 5, "TIME OUT OF MIND" JOAN MARSHALL GRANT - A BOOK ABOUT HERSELF, 1956

'Time out of Mind' was written in answer to the many questions Joan Grant received after she published Winged Pharaoh - which became popular as soon as she published it. On the one hand it explains who this 'gay and ebullient' women was, who always lived life at top speed, and on the other explains the question of reincarnation and explains the meaning of 'Far Memory'
Joan Grant published seven Far memory books and i have a wonderfully old hardback of this one, which might have belonged to Joan herself as it has a handwritten inscription 'Grant, 59 Canford Cliffs road, Poole Dorset ' and had an old invoice inside it, dated 24.1.43 for the amount of £ 18 from 'Gowns' Mrs C.R. Tho'mas - handwritten - published 1956 in UK. I live close to Poole and the New Forest in Bournemouth and was delighted to find out how much time she spent in these parts of the world.
I have read 4 of her far memory books aloud and it is time that i read again about the magnificent author of these books. My perspective on life has changed but what i do remember is, she was special and i look forward to journeying through her life again as throughout her life she was preoccupied with the subject of ethics, to her it represented the fundamental and timeless code of attitudes and behaviour towards one another on which the health and of the individual and society depends
