Random Rants: BODY NEGATIVITY! New TMNT Film Promotes UNHEALTHY Black Teenager As "Relatable"

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem film dropped this weekend, featuring reimagined April O'Neil as a short, frumpy, tubby looking black girl. This fact we already knew. However a recent tweet revealed that the character was designed by a person who wanted to make her "relatable and grounded in the real world". Apparently to these guys, a relatable and grounded black girl is overweight and unhealthy and has type-2 diabetes in her future
