ICP is now Ethereum Compatible

The Internet Computer has implemented the BitFinity EVM, officially making ICP an EVM compatible blockchain. The Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) is the computational engine that processes ethereum smart contracts. Making ICP an EVM compatible blockchain means the network can now process ethereum smart contracts and seamlessly communicate to the ethereum network. This will increase end usage on ICP as well promote developer adoption. ICP has also release a beta for Web Sockets, a persistent bidirectional connection between clients and servers that allows for rapid communication such as notifications, messaging, and much more. In a nutshell, the Internet Computer is making some phenomenal advancements and it remain a superbly attractive blockchain opportunity.
