Adam and Eve, and the symbolism of the Apple.

The Christian Bible has foretold many events throughout history. But one of its many symbolic references, the bite from the forbidden fruit, the apple. The teachings lead us to believe the apple was the symbol of technology warned to stay away from.
Is it mere coincidence that a company that has advanced in technology so much, that can listen to your every word, record every call, save every text or photo, and tell exactly where you are and where you’ve been, uses the symbol of the bitten apple?
