duPont Slipped on Its Teflon (it owes $40 million). Should SCOTUS throw a lifeline in dirty water?

E.I duPont gave us Teflon, and while doing so, it gave West Virginia and Ohio residents cancer. Having lost three trials, the Court applied Collateral Estoppel against them, and interpreted a prior settlement agreement to mean they could not challenge general causation. It cost them $40,000,000 and now they brought all the usual suspects to Court with them filing Amicus briefs. This will be an interesting one to watch.
