He Built a Childrens Toy in Just MINUTES with a Lathe | Solo Travel India | Karnataka Vlog (Ep. 72)

Today, I visited a small village named Channapatna which is in Karnataka, India. A local man, Krishna, took me here on his motorbike so I could see how wooden toys were made.

We knocked on the door of 2 woodworking shops, and asked if we could film them while they made something. They both agreed.

I was shocked how quickly one of the men took a tree, basically, and turned it into a painted and polished leg for one of his children's toys. 3 minutes to do the lathe woodworking, and another 3 minutes to color and shine the leg. I was impressed!

Another man carved and colored a wooden spin top in just minutes, as well. I could see that both men have been skilled woodworkers for quite a long time!
