More Than 20% of Gen Z Identify As LGBTQ+

Why are more young people, now more than ever, identifying as part of the LQBTQ+ community? I have my thoughts!

Modern culture is creating a great divide between the young men and women of Gen Z. We all look for someone and somewhere that we can identify with, that we feel understands what we're going through. By dividing the youth, we're creating bubbles - echo chambers - in which they can feel safe and secure. And many times these bubbles are with people of the same sex. Young, impressionable people are convinced that they are part of the LGBTQ+ community and therefore should be attracted to the same sex. It isn't long, especially with pre-pubescents, that they convince themselves that this is true.
