Elon musk let the way for the blue tick purchase to be a thing on social media and both matter on Twitter on making a lot of money from that. But I think that this is even more reason for us to double down on sites like TikTok, and making sure that we have the option to have a social media site that is not going to be bought out by a billionaire who is hell-bent on shutting it down. Social media should be about the uses and not about the billionaire owner.
