Hello, I am Tonya and this is my old neighborhood. It looks like a condemned area however; families living there are struggling daily in many ways.
Did you know that Paris is in the top 5% of the nation’s crime statics with a population of only 25k?
Crimes such as murders, rapes, and robberies top the list that plague this small town.
The breakdown of the nuclear family has taken its toll. Within this county, over 40% of families are single parents.
The poverty rate is an alarming 28%. That is almost 13% higher than the US average.
There are no parks, pools, or even safe areas for the children to play.
I am asking you to donate to help this area because big changes begin in small ways.
With your donation, we will clean up the neglected community. Help the home owners gain their property values back, as well as provide security.
With you help, we will build a community center with a garden to nourish and feed the many homeless in this area as well as the children and the elderly.
