The Melchizedek Priesthood and God's Eternal Purpose; Shaping Creation into Christ's Image

This teaching explains that God's ultimate purpose is for all of creation to be transformed into the image and likeness of Christ, which brings Him pleasure. Humanity was created for this purpose, to continue God's work of shaping creation through the ages. Our bodies are designed to host God's presence and operations, like the tabernacle. As we mature in Christ, we are equipped as Melchizedek priests to steward God's work on earth and in the heavens, ruling over every realm. The goal is for creation to fully reflect the glory of Christ.
