Flashing crosswalk installed near where a driver hit, killed 15-year-old

Ethan Weiser's uncle Matt Croasmun says: "We’ve been pleased that the crosswalk on Belleair has gone up and will be there for school kids this year. There still is work to do on bus stop illumination and crosswalks around our roads that are getting more and more crowded. The crosswalk with a flashing beacon was installed on Belleair Road, west of U.S. 19". The crosswalk is located near the area where a driver hit and killed 15-year-old Ethan Weiser as he made his way to his school bus stop last August. The family will have a memorial vigil at the location of the accident to mark the 1-year anniversary on August 26.
