Drainage of a mildly inflamed cyst on the neck

This is actually a very good case to see as it teaches why we wait for infected/inflammed fields to settle back down before we attempt to remove them. In this case, I had waited 3 months since the cyst was inflamed but clearly the inflammation was still present and you can see how thin and friable the membrane was. My hope is that enough was removed that this lesion won’t recur but only time will tell whether that is accurate or not.
