When players DGAF

At a Minor League Baseball game, former MLB Washington Nationals catcher Raudy Reed finishes a game, then charges the stands over something a fan did. But player fan interactions are nothing new, but why is this becoming an increasingly bigger problem? I think it's social media and anonymous comments sections conditioning people that this behavior is somehow permissible.
