Complete Removal of an Intact Pilar Cyst

This was a clean removal of a pilar cyst. At one point the anaesthesia had to be augmented, unfortunately, but that is unusual for these cases. I find that when I inject underneath the cyst bed that usually the anaesthesia is quite good. However, it is also easy to add more. There were no complications here and this healed well. I could have chosen to clip the hair down but I don't as I never find this interferes to any great degree. At the end of this procedure, however, the whole area was cleaned and the hair pulled out of the actual wound. As always feel free to leave a comment.
