Removal of a Pilar Cyst essentially intact with mild extrusion

This patient had this cyst present for a number of years and it was more apparent then most cysts this size because he chose to shave his head completely. I apologize that the video is a bit out of focus from the 3-4 min mark. Sutures start going in at around the 7 min mark and these are just the superficial interrupted type. There was no need for dermal sutures here. This healed nicely and without incident.
