This BCC was slowly growing over a few years. The procedure itself was fairly uneventful and the skin margins came together nicely. The only point I would make to residents is that you will see, after my initial incision, that a small vessel was bleeding towards the one apex. You could certainly have chosen to cauterize this or tie it off but typically this will naturally happen with both dermal sutures and interrupted sutures so I wouldn't panic.
