Whatever one party is for, the other is against

One of the most frustrating things throughout my 8 years in Congress was how blatantly our leaders put party before the people. Whatever one party is for, the other is against—and vice versa. The American people are so sick of that. We have to go beyond labels, and we must have leaders who act for our interests, not the interests of themselves or their party.
