Clint Ober is universally acknowledged as an innovative trailblazer and the leading figure behind the grounding, or earthing, movement. This practice, commonly known as earthing, promotes the idea of achieving a physical connection with the Earth's inherent electrical energy, either through barefoot walking, sitting, or sleeping directly on the ground or through the use of specially designed grounding devices.

Possessing a rich background in the cable television industry, Ober developed an intrigue about the influence of electrical systems on human health. This prompted him to embark on extensive research to explore the potential health advantages associated with grounding.

During the early years of the 21st century, Ober joined forces with a diverse team of researchers and medical professionals. Their collective investigations centered on the relationship between the Earth's electrical energy and the human physiological system, particularly with regard to issues such as inflammation, sleep disorders, pain, stress, and general well-being.

Ober's groundbreaking work served as a catalyst for the creation of an array of grounding products. These include conductive sheets, mats, and bands designed to facilitate the experience of grounding within an indoor setting.
