The "Welsh Wrecking Machine," considers this fight one of his most spectacular performances. Barry had the upper hand in the fight knocking his opponent down multiple times with his powerful left hands. His game plan was to box a little and avoid getting caught up in exchanges, but everything happened so fast he couldn't fully execute it.

"I knew he was going to come out at me, so I thought tried to box a little bit in there. But like you said, it happened so fast. You just get caught up in the moment and start an exchange like so. and that's what happened."

Barry's extensive bare knuckle experience played a role in his victory, as his opponent had only one previous fight. The smaller size of the ring didn't bother him that much since his first fight also ended quickly.

Barry told #bareknucklenews he has achieved more than he ever imagined in his bare knuckle career, including becoming a world champion and defending his title three times.

"I fought in Miami as well in Thailand. So I never thought, you know, if you told me this five years ago, I'd have been world champion Police Gazette First person to defend him not twice, but three times. Now, I would have told him, You're mad. But it's been a great experience for me. And, you know, I was close to retiring at the end of the year at the beginning of this year. So I'm glad to come back for one more."

Being in the history books alongside bare knuckle pioneer John L Sullivan feels amazing, and he hopes to fully appreciate his achievements once he retires.

When asked how he would like to be remembered he had this to say:
"Hopefully, you know, hopefully go down as the best bare knuckle of all time. Fighter of all time. I'd be okay.
