Where Does the Fluoride in Your Tap Come From?

Professor Paul Connett describes where the fluoride that is deliberately added to drinking water (and toothpastes and other dental products) comes from. This substance causes dental and skeletal fluorosis (leaching of minerals from tooth enamel and bones), neuro-developmental toxicity, and is associated with certain cancers particularly, but not only, of the bone.

Governments make partnerships with industry who prefer to sell their toxic waste, than pay to have it disposed of, and tell us that it's good for our teeth if they add it to our water. Research is conducted by pro-fluoridation experts who are paid by the industry and often hide the real results.

The history of water fluoridation originated from the US Atomic Bomb Program, who needed a way to promote fluoride as safe and healthy, after it was found to be harming program staff as well as those in the surrounding communities, who were seeking legal recompense.
