I received sharp personal criticism from a Roman Catholic friend, someone dear to me, for claiming that the ancient abuses of Roman "authority" and Rome's lust for territorial conquest have not abated one whit in modern times. She is willing to sleep with the Devil for POWER. And increasingly, she is sleeping with ALL the devils. I received a blessing to answer without effort, as the players themselves confessed and demonstrated their evil.
