Revelation 18 & 19: Fall of Babylon That Dismay and Thanksgiving

Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and the Abominations of the earth. This refers not to New York but Rome. Rome was considered the mother of Harlots. Using people of the earth for her own selfish interests. This mother is a city: it is not Jerusalem but Rome. The ultimate of religious /moral prostitute where it merges with the political system. It manipulates governmental power to her advantage.
