বাঙ্গালী গণিতবিদ কাজী আজিজুল হক, অন্যজন হেম চন্দ্র বসু মিলে আবিষ্কার করেন ফিঙ্গারপ্রিন্ট ডিটেকশন সিস্টেম। তবে তৎকালীন পুলিশের আইজি ব্রিটিশ হেনরি প্রচার করেন এই আবিষ্কার উনার নিজের।

এমন কি কাজী আজিজুল হককে কোনো রকম স্বীকৃতি দিতেই অস্বীকার করলেন। আর এদিকে বাংলাদেশের কাজী আজিজুল হক আবিষ্কৃত সিস্টেমের নাম হয়ে গেল 'হেনরি ক্লাসিফিকেশন সিস্টেম'।
