Broken pots for orchids are a NO NO! Having used bleach in the past, to ensure a sterile environment for a future orchid within the same pot, some of my pots are brittle at the rim which is dangerous when handling the orchids. A crack can cause a pot to fall out of my hands. I am replacing the old pots, with some new pots. In this video it is pretty straight forward. Thankfully, one of the epidendrum hybrids has an actively growing root system. The other epidendrum hybrid does not have an actively growing root system, but I think we will be ok with the repot timing. I do not recommend repotting an orchid that is not in active root growth, however, I do add to that, if needs must, then a repot has to happen and we hope all goes with as little stress to the orchid. #orchid #orchidcare #orchideen #orquideas #orchideenpflege #repottingplants #tips
