How to make Elderberry Jam | How To Amend Jam

Today we are attempting to make delicious elderberry jelly or jam. And I have a batch of sourdough going. This is JAM experience is slightly experimental as I don't have an elderberry specific recipe. I run into a road bump but will I be able to salvage the batch? Elderberries are an amazing superfood with flu fighting and immune boosting capabilities.

Every year between August and October, we forage for elderberries in the Pacific North West. Every bush and cluster of berries ripens at its own rate As a mom of 5 I know how big of a task it can seem to take the family out into nature. You can do it! Get outside and explore, you never know what you will find but one thing is for sure, you will find lots of peace and beauty along the way. If I can do it so can you! Enjoy!!
