He revealed that the top two ticket sellers secure a significant portion of their tickets at lower prices and then resell them at double the price. Once the initial 20 percent of tickets are sold, they even go a step further and dispatch scalpers to sell the remaining tickets at even higher prices. This scheme not only ensures inflated ticket prices but also creates a false sense of scarcity, driving up demand and generating substantial profits for those involved.
Furthermore, Sean also exposed another shady aspect of the music industry. He discussed how major record labels use bots to artificially inflate the numbers associated with their artists. These bots manipulate streaming services and online platforms to boost the artists' streams, views, and engagement metrics, creating an illusion of popularity and success.
