Meta, the parent company of Google and Instagram, blocks Canadian News content in response to the Government of Canada's Bill C-18, which forces Meta to pay a fee to the Canadian News provider for the privilege of including and linking Canadian News companies articles in Google searches even thou Google is providing increased awareness and readership to the Canadian News Companies articles.
