Biden Falters in Polls, Democrats Face Crisis

According to a recent I&I/TIPP poll, less than half of Democrats support President Biden for his 2024 presidential reelection bid. The poll surveyed 638 Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents, with only 37% expressing their support for Biden in the Democratic primary. The potential challengers listed, including Michelle Obama, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Gavin Newsom, all fell far behind Biden in terms of support. While 15% of respondents chose "other," concerns grew after Biden's recent tumble at the U.S. Air Force Academy's commencement ceremony. This poll suggests that no one in the Democratic Party has a viable chance of defeating Biden, despite his age and health speculation. Republicans lead the primary field with vast support for former President Donald Trump.
