The original version of "Silence Night" plays when the main player fails to rescue Naoko from being crushed to death during the final battle with Zeed, thus triggering the bad ending. The original 40+ second version of the song only hints at the tragedy of it all. I wanted my expansion to put the listener in the mind of Joe Musashi, and the anguish and sorrow he would have felt over failing at his task, and losing the love of his life. I also wanted to amplify the atmosphere by adding in some harmonized piano and a Japanese koto for more authenticity. Hope you all enjoy it.
