Lavender Fields - Opera & Ballet - An Enchanting Evening

The Lavender fields, high up in the hills near Bakhchisaray, are the largest in Russia. They are visited by thousands of people every August to pose for pictures, and buy lavender bouquets and products. This was a fascinating event that featured operettas and ballet performances as the sun set. Lavender colored ice cream, champagne and wine were also available. It all made for a memorable and enchanting evening.
