Ute Margreff lives on Ireland’s Atlantic coast, and Florian Graner in Puget Sound in the Northwest of the USA. Both Germans share a deep passion for the sea and its creatures. About 10 years ago Ute Margreff got to know the female solitary dolphin, Mara – it was the start of an unusual friendship. Florian Graner found its private paradise close to Seattle. Right in front of his doorstep, he dives into a world inhabited by sea lions, giant octopuses, and orca whales. Both Ute and Florian fight for the protection of marine habitats, each one in a different and very unique way.
