Why is the trans community trying to create more straight people?

If a man having sex with a “trans woman” isn’t gay, then by that logic, a man having sex with a very ugly, masculine-looking woman is gay. How masculine or feminine a person looks doesn’t determine whether an act is gay or straight. The sex of both parties determines whether it’s gay or straight. Further, how you personally identify doesn’t determine whether an act is gay or straight. We used to acknowledge this. Two men who engage with one another secretly and hide their true feelings while publicly identifying as straight, wouldn’t be called “straight” by most of us. At worst, people would deride them for being “homophobic,” and at best, people would encourage them to “embrace their true selves.”
