Laying Hold of Eternal Life; The Indestructible Life in Christ

This teaching emphasizes that through faith in Jesus Christ, believers have received eternal, indestructible life from God Himself which enables them to overcome the powers of darkness. It exhorts Christians to continuously abide in God's word to lay hold of this life, pursuing holiness, godliness and righteousness. By depending on the Holy Spirit and wielding the authority of Jesus' name, believers can walk in victory over sickness and the schemes of the devil. The ultimate goal is to fully attain the stature of sonship and advance God's kingdom on earth by living according to the life and timing of God rather than the natural life of this world.
