As of my last knowledge, NASA's Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD) indeed focuses on advancing space technologies to enable future exploration missions. The Directorate's goal is to develop and mature technologies that can revolutionize space exploration, reduce mission costs, and expand our capabilities beyond Earth's orbit.
