Starmer's Labour Party have a sexual misconduct problem.

Starmer said the Labour Party was being cleaned up under his leadership, but this sickening story says otherwise.
Right, so the Labour Party have a major misconduct problem. While Keir Starmer’s regime have been busy blocking left wing members of the party from standing, or restanding, whilst parachuting in favoured candidates the country over, a less well reported story has demonstrated both the extremes Starmer will go to to allow factional allies to stand whilst also going to extreme lengths to not worry about anything they might have been accused of in order to permit them standing, even to the point they’d been arrested over it. Let’s block decent, competent candidates who might have once shared the same air as Jeremy Corbyn on one hand, but let’s not worry about, for example, somebody caught in possession of child pornography as is the case here.
Tom Dewey is a member of the Labour to Win right wing faction of the Labour Party, one of their activists, the odious Luke Akehurst is their secretary and Dewey was selected to stand for election in the May 2022 local elections for Hackney Borough Council. He was however arrested the month before in April 2022 by the National Crime Agency no less in relation to at that time being in possession of indecent images of children. Now, Labour had made a lot of cleaning up the party, a lot of blaming the left for antisemitism, for damaging the party and Starmer was here to clean up the mess and put it all behind them. Well if we didn’t already know it was utterly factional and an excuse, Tom Dewey, despite his arrest and the allegations then made against him, was still permitted to stand for Labour in the May 2022 elections. So much for cleaning up the party, so much for high quality candidates only, he’d hardly be the first such person allowed to stand in politics after all, perhaps that was the Labour rights thinking. We can get away with it. If so they aren’t right in the head, but allowed to stand anyway he was and win a seat on Hackney Borough Council he did. Albeit for a few weeks before standing down. Now you might be thinking this is from last year Damo, why are you bringing this up now, I know news is slow in the summer months but it’s pertinent because the investigations have taken this long to come to court, which is borne out by the seriousness of the crime. Dewey appeared in Uxbridge Magistrates Court in July of this year and pleaded guilty to five charges of making and possessing child abuse images, one charge of making or downloading five category A images of children, the most serious, as well as charges of making 41 category B images and 203 category C images. He was subsequently found guilty. His sentence?
