Since we have these promises…what promises?
The promises outlined in chapter 6 verses 17-18.
Promises to all who separate themselves from the world…and become one with God.
Promises of a more intimate relationship with God for those who want to draw closer to Him.
Promises that God will welcome or receive us, that He will be a father to us…and we will be sons and daughters to Him.
So, lets look at each promise:
