Book of Luke chapter 4, part 1

Learn from Jesus/ Yeshua how He bested the devil, time after time, during 40 days of testing in the wilderness. He used the Eternal Word of God ! you and I are to do the same thing today: submit to Almighty God by calling on His Word of Truth, resist the devil, and the devil HAS to flee---James 4:7 !
This beautiful chapter also includes Jesus going to His synagogue in Nazareth, his hometown, and reading the prophetic words in the book of Isaiah. He announces to all that He, Jesus, is fulfilling those words ! He came to set the captives FREE!! Instead of honoring Him, they attempt to kill Him !
