38 Special +P and MP-180 Powder: Part 1

Working up a load for MP-180 Powder (from American Reloading). The data provided was simply this:

MP 180 Stick Powder - Burns around 35 - 38 on Hodgdon Burn Rate chart

Caliber – 9mm

Charge – 5.2 gr

Bullet – 115gr FMJ

Avg. Velocity – 1,100 fps

Work up all loads minus 10% Minimum Load

I've gotten from 5.5gr to 6.5gr and it's doing great! Plan is to get GOOD chrono data at 6.5, 6.7, and 6.8gr and see how this powder does...

American Reloading had it cheap at 5lbs for $103.99 shipped (including Hazmat) - so a great deal.
