The newest Trump indictment in Georgia: “when democrats challenge an election it’s free speech; when republicans challenge an election it’s a criminal act”. Seemingly a State conviction would not be pardonable by a President. Did Nixon claim to have the power to reject electors in 1960? Have not similar actions challenging elections been taken in the past? Compare this to the treatment of Hunter Biden; does anyone care that the appointment of a special counsel was illegal since Weiss is a member of the government? From where does congress derive power to grant immunity? Do Dems care at all about optics?
